Foam Cannon PRO V3.0
PRO V3.0 · 1/4-inch quick connector
MJJC ships the PRO V3.0 with a 1.25 mm orifice fitted and 1.1 mm and 1.35 mm spares, and publishes an orifice chart by machine pressure.

MJJC PRO V3.0 Ultimate Foam Cannon for Pressure Washers – Professional Car Wash Accessory Kit with Thick Foam, Stainless Steel, 44 fl oz Bottle (Pro V3.0 (1/4" Quick Connector) + SOAP Sample)
MJJC ships the PRO V3.0 with a 1.25 mm orifice fitted and 1.1 mm and 1.35 mm spares, and publishes an orifice chart by machine pressure. That makes it easier to tune for a smaller electric washer or a stronger gas one. MJJC states it needs at least 725 PSI and cold water only.
Consider: The orifice that ships installed suits roughly 1,600 to 2,200 PSI by MJJC’s own chart. A low-pressure electric washer may need the smaller spare to foam well. Check your washer’s fitting before ordering.

MTM Hydro
PF22.2 Foam Cannon
Kit with 1.25 mm and 1.1 mm orifices
The PF22.2 is MTM Hydro’s current cannon, with a wide-mouth bottle and an adjustable fan.

MTM Hydro 28 Special PF22.2 Foam Cannon Kit
The PF22.2 is MTM Hydro’s current cannon, with a wide-mouth bottle and an adjustable fan. Retailers list a 1.1 mm low-flow orifice for electric pressure washers alongside the standard 1.25 mm one.
Consider: Published operating figures differ between sellers, so confirm the pressure and flow range for your washer. MTM cannons do not suit washers with flow-sensing unloaders.

Adam's Polishes
Premium Foam Gun
Hose-end foam gun
Adam’s Premium Foam Gun attaches to a standard garden hose and mixes shampoo into the water stream.
Product details & buying advice
Adam's Polishes Foam Gun Car Wash Sprayer - Connects to Garden Hose for Car Washing, No Pressure Washer Required, Use Snow Foam Blaster with Car Soap, Shampoo or Detergent
Adam’s Premium Foam Gun attaches to a standard garden hose and mixes shampoo into the water stream. It brings a pre-wash to anyone who cannot store or run a pressure washer.
Consider: A hose-end gun makes wetter, thinner foam than a pressure-washer cannon, and Adam’s itself pairs it with a bucket wash rather than replacing one.

Chemical Guys
TORQ Foam Blaster 6
Hose-end foam gun with dilution dial
The TORQ Foam Blaster 6 also runs from a garden hose and has a dial for how much soap mixes into the water.
Product details & buying advice
Chemical Guys, TORQ Foam Blaster 6 Cannon, Garden Hose Attachment for Cars
The TORQ Foam Blaster 6 also runs from a garden hose and has a dial for how much soap mixes into the water. It is the lower-cost way to try foaming before buying a pressure washer.
Consider: Expect less cling than a cannon on vertical panels. Chemical Guys has also sold a Pro version, so check which model the listing ships.

A foam cannon screws onto a pressure washer and turns diluted car shampoo into thick foam that sits on the paint and loosens dirt before you touch it with a mitt. The MJJC PRO V3.0 and MTM Hydro PF22.2 are two established pressure-washer cannons. If you do not own a pressure washer, a garden-hose foam gun such as Adam’s Premium Foam Gun or the Chemical Guys TORQ Foam Blaster 6 does a lighter version of the same job. On a ceramic coated car, foam is a pre-wash, not a replacement for the contact wash.
Product selection
Choosing foam cannons and foam guns
With a pressure washer, buy the MJJC PRO V3.0 if you want a cannon that ships with spare orifices for different machines, or the MTM PF22.2 if you want the brass-bodied cannon many detailers name. Match the fitting and orifice to your washer before ordering. Without a pressure washer, Adam’s Premium Foam Gun or the TORQ Foam Blaster 6 runs from a garden hose; expect wetter, thinner foam than a cannon makes.
Compare the products aboveFoam cannon or foam gun: what you are buying
A foam cannon attaches to a pressure washer and uses its pressure to whip shampoo and water into dense foam. A foam gun attaches to a garden hose and makes a wetter, sudsier spray. Both apply shampoo before the contact wash; only the cannon produces the thick, clinging foam people picture.
If you already own a pressure washer, a cannon is the purchase. If you do not, decide whether you want a pressure washer at all before buying a cannon, and remember a hose-end gun is a reasonable step on its own.
Match the fitting and orifice to your pressure washer
Most cannons ship with a 1/4-inch quick-connect plug, but many consumer electric washers use their own bayonet fitting and need an adapter. Check the end of your washer’s gun before ordering.
The orifice controls how much water passes through the cannon. A washer with lower pressure or flow than the orifice expects makes runny foam. MJJC publishes an orifice chart by pressure and includes spares; MTM kits are sold with a smaller 1.1 mm orifice for electric machines.
Using foam on a ceramic coated car
Mix a pH-neutral shampoo at the strength its label gives for a foam cannon, foam the car from the bottom up, and let it dwell without drying, then rinse from the top down. Then wash with a clean mitt as normal.
Foam loosens grit; it does not lift all of it. Thick foam is satisfying, but the contact wash is still what cleans the car, and a coating does not make it safe to skip that step.
Questions about foam cannons and foam guns
Do I need a pressure washer for a foam cannon?
Yes. A foam cannon is built to run on a pressure washer. Without one, use a garden-hose foam gun, which makes thinner foam but needs no other equipment.
Which orifice should I use in a foam cannon?
Use the one that matches your pressure washer. MJJC’s chart puts its pre-installed 1.25 mm orifice at about 1,600 to 2,200 PSI and suggests a smaller orifice for lower-pressure machines. Many electric washers foam better with a 1.1 mm orifice.
Does a foam cannon replace washing by hand?
No. It is a pre-wash that loosens dirt before the contact wash. Follow it with a mitt and a pH-neutral shampoo.
Is foam cannon soap safe on a ceramic coating?
Use a pH-neutral shampoo the coating maker permits, at the dilution its label gives. Strong pre-wash or traffic-film removers are a different product and can wear a coating’s top layer.
