What we collect

When you submit a quote request we collect the name, contact detail, city, vehicle and service you enter, plus the page you submitted from. That's the whole list, and every field on the form is there because a shop can't quote without it.

What we do with it

We pass it to the installers you selected, or where you selected none, to installers matched on your city and the service you asked about. They contact you directly. We do not sell your details, we don't add you to a marketing list you did not ask for, and we take no commission on any work you book.

Analytics

We use standard web analytics to understand which pages are useful. That records pages viewed, approximate location and device type. It isn't tied to your quote request and it isn't sold on.

Your choices

Ask us to delete anything we hold about you and we will. Use the contact form and pick "Privacy or removal"; it reaches a person and you get a copy of what you sent. If a shop has already received your request you'll need to ask them separately, since at that point they hold their own copy.

Business listings

Listings are compiled from publicly available information. Owners can claim a listing to correct it, or ask us to remove it.

Once a month, read off the price lists of the 552 shops that publish one. Whether you are about to buy or about to quote, it is the same data from opposite sides.
